Is it any wonder we are confused?
It would seem to be a psychiatric disorder when the psychiatrists themselves do not notice that they are dealing with healthy people.
How then would they know when a patient is well and healthy again?Is it any wonder our children are confused?
More than half of JPs' psychiatric orders not justified

JUSTICES of the Peace have ordered psychiatric assessments on more than 2500 Queenslanders in the past three years but less than half were justified.
People forced to undergo a psychiatric assessment are also routinely refused all information about their case, including the name of the JP, the complainant, or what prompted the action.Only magistrates and JPs are allowed to issue justices examination orders (JEOs), which allow police to enter a person's home and take them away for psychiatric assessment against their will.
More than 95 per cent of the orders are issued by JPs, who need no medical qualifications.
However they must hold a reasonable belief that "the person has a mental illness".
David Solomon, who reviewed Freedom of Information laws for the Bligh Government, said he was surprised at the high JEO error rate, addingthat the role of JPs should be reconsidered.
Queensland Justices Association (QJA) president Bob Pilkington said he was aware of the statistics and supported a review, but JPs' safety had to be taken into account when providing information to JEO subjects.
Dr Solomon's review also criticised the lack of informaton available to people subject to an order, saying it was unfair for someone deprived of their liberty not to be told what was alleged about them.
